I've been doing commissions for a while now, and recently I have decided to try and do a Kickstarter project of my own featuring a comic book idea I have had for many years.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/rjsilvers/rajahalla-fantasy-martial-arts-action-adventure

Well actually its a combination of many other ideas I've had over the years mixed into one. It's an Asian/Hindu/Egyptian mythology world set in a primal/jurassic (yes that means there's dinosaurs running around (at least Kaiju-like monsters)) world full of warriors and barbarians fighting it out in the wold lands.

I've already gotten five pages ready for the Kickstarter, tho I think that may be too much. I just wanted to show people I was serious about doing this. I just need some support to make it into an actual printed comic for people to enjoy.

This particular story is about a warrior-monk named, Kaido. He has been gifted divine powers from the sanctuaries he resides in. His backstory is mysterious. But I already wrote it so here it is: He was given up as a child and taken in by the watchers of the temple atop a sky turtle's shell/back. Inside the temples he learned to fight and was given special powers that grant him immortality. However, if he is away for more than a sun and a moon his powers will fade.

So basically this story is about a race against time because after the first fight in the burning village, the sky turtle disappears without a trace leaving Kaido stranded. He finds an orphan boy that reminds him of himself and he promises to take the boy to another village where his relatives live so he can be safe. But he's only got 2 two days to do it and the whole time he's navigating the jungles, monster after monster ambush and Kaido gets weaker as he rips them to shreds. By the end of the issue Kaido's powers fade right as he delivers the final blow to a giant two-headed cobra creature.

I've gone really in-depth with this comic. I have a whole lore document describing the characters and the creatures of the world and I'm even writing a language for the world of Rajahalla just for the fun of it. Hope people lie it as much as I do.

Thanks,

~RJ Silvers
